Ryan Sarver Events

May 14, 2008

What a difference a year makes! Last year we were having our first BoF session and this year Brady has been nice enough to give us an actual speaking slot to introduce it to everyone attending.

Hopefully we will see you at Where 2.0 2008 in Burlingame

Updated Working Draft

Ryan Sarver Updates

We had a small meeting today with myself, Doug Turner and Brad Lassey to review the current working draft. Based on that meeting a new Working Draft has been published to the wiki for review. Please see the Working Draft page to review the changes and provide any feedback.

Change notes:

  • Updated top-level interface to new name (Geolocator) and made it a singleton
  • Provided callback and non-call back interfaces for retrieving location updates

If you are going to be at the event, come by and join in on the discussion. XTech is shaping up to be a great event and it will be good to get everyone together. Special thanks to Mike Smith and Edd Dumbill for making it happen.

Welcome to LocationAware.org

Ryan Sarver General

If you are coming to the site for the first time, be sure to check out the about page to learn more about the project. If you are interested in contributing you can start with the wiki and the mailing list. The list is meant for more active discussion while the wiki will hold more static content.

There are a few upcoming events that a few of us will be attending. It would be great to catch up and have some in-person meetings. Events will be posted on the site, so let us know if you think you’ll be attending.
